Free webinars, what would you like to talk about? [Poll]

Share these actual insights

Have you tried Google Hangouts yet? According to Forbes, it will change the webinar industry. I have tried, and I liked it. I am jumping on the ‘free webinars’ bandwagon too!

As a blogging team of 1, I can’t afford any plan at GoToMeetings, and there are not many alternatives that I trust for small business use. Either way, I feel that it is time to take actualinsights* to the next level.

Real Users, Real Data, Real Insights

Like the motto of this blog reads, I want to talk about real users, creating real data. I feel that in the industry that we are in, it is important to share knowledge. With books being published left, right, and center, what can I do to start a real conversation.

I have considered various options. I have even considered publishing ebooks on practical conversion optimization topics. I wanted to get more personal, so I chose free webinars.

I have personally always enjoyed attending free webinars, and I think that it offers a perfect place to start conversations between peers.

WebinarExpress for WordPress

Sure, I had to invest a little money in order to make my free webinars look nice. It is like they said “you need to spend money to make money”. Not that my girlfriend really agrees with that statement, but I am dead set to prove her wrong.

My blog runs on WordPress as you might have learned in a previous post. I love having an integrated platform to run my tools on, and the same goes this time. For that reason, and although the landing/squeeze page looks a but too slick, I purchased WebinarExpress.

WebinarExpress will allow me to host a free webinar through actualinsights*, let attendees register (even via Facebook), notify attendees prior to launching the free webinar, and offer replays. I just like things to be well organized, even for you guys.

Vote for your favorite ‘free webinars’ topic

To get to the real point of this blog post… I would like to hear from you which topics you would like covered in my free webinars? I am considering inviting other professionals to co-host the free webinars with me, to make sure that your time is well spent.

So, if you have a minute, could you please cast your vote in the poll below? You can click on ‘View Results’ to actually look at the results of other voters.

Online testing as Albert, Tullis and Tedesco explain it in “Beyond The Usability Lab, Conducting Large-Scale Online User Experience Studies.”. Do you have experience with something like that?

    • I know of the book. And as far as ‘Large-Scale’ is concerned. I have conducted tests with 400+ participants yes. Some large clients had huge traffic on their site, and in a weekend (it was a travel site) I got over 400+ test completes. A lot of data to dig through, but well worth the effort. Do you have any experience with Large Scale studies?
