Web Analytics Consultant at Nedstat BV

As a web analytics consultant I am responsible for assisting companies define their online goals, determining KPI’s and structuring this information into implementation plans for Nedstat’s web metric products and services.
After implementation the continuous improvement cycle commences. My task is to train and guide customers along the road of reading and understanding web analytics. I help customers translate results into projects wherein goals are defined to improve the company online (sub)channels on various levels such as e-commerce, usability, accessibility. Assistance is given at all stages if so required. Other topics covered and supported by consultancy services are SEO (traffic and lead generation) techniques and KPI reporting.

Technical Product Manager Internet at De Telefoongids

My job mainly consists of product management for our internet related products and mobile services for the #5 website in the Netherlands. I advise our commercial oriented product managers about the capabilities of our services and platforms for a broad number of products ranging from keywords to online commercials. I also advise customer support and our sales teams on all of our products and assist them with any problems they encounter. I also take part in projects focusing on enhancing our current portfolio of products as well as finding structural solutions for issues that arise.
Secondary tasks include the monitoring and guarding of the usability and accessibility of all our electronic products. This was done using Omniture’s Site Catalyst for which I was one of two administrators in the company.
The job is technically and commercially focussed. Work level is high and mainly consists of project based work and ad-hoc solution finding.
Community Content Manager at Survey Sampling International / Bloomerce
November 2004 – May 2006 (1 year 7 months)
At Bloomerce, now known as Survey Sampling International, I was given the responsibilities of managing all content. Bloomerce at the time maintained 14 websites which were published in 10 different languages. I was also in charge of monitoring each site’s individual usage and panel recuitment through our community portal. I was the key player in all web activities ranging from redesign research and planning, both technical and graphical, to the assigning of jobs to freelance writers who in turn wrote content for the websites. I was also the point of contact for many external companies to whom we delivered special request content to. MSN, Planet Internet, Versatel and Tradedoubler were our biggest partners.
Together with IT, I tested new development releases vigourosly before deployment and assisted in the advising of adjustments to our inhouse CMS to make the application more accesible to other colleagues.
